17 days to go!

Still 17 days to go!

ArsMondo's painting workshop in Rome will begin on the 1st of June! Our workspace is situated in a peaceful corner of Trastevere and belongs to an old Roman Catholic church. We can paint on the terrace or go for walks along the narrow streets of Trastevere - looking for inspiration.

What could be better than starting a summer morning by painting in Rome's Trastevere?

On the first day we are planning to explore the galleries in Campo de' Fiori and Piazza Navona, and have a traditional Italian at taverna dell'allegria in the evening. We will also visit a studio belonging to two Finnish painters in the region of Appia.

The workshop instructor is an internationally acclaimed painter Hannu Palosuo; so, it'll be a unique chance for us to make the most of his guidance and long-term experience.

ArsMondo has a blog!

Finally, ArsMondo has a blog!

But first, what is ArsMondo? And what does ArsMondo do?

ArsMondo aims to increase the interaction between Italian and international artists. ArsMondo believes that a true intercultural dialogue begins with local actions. Furthermore, ArsMondo believes that art is a unique tool to intensify and enrich intercultural dialogue.

We in ArsMondo want to put these beliefs and aims into practice. Thus, we organize art workshops in Italy and welcome both beginners and advanced art practitioners from all over the world. During our workshops, the participants not only create art, but also meet local artists, visit their studios and see the galleries that local artists visit.

Our next workshop will be in Rome between June the 1st and June the 4th. This painting workshop will take place in Rome's Trastevere and the instructor of the workshop is an internationally acclaimed painter.

ArsMondo is currently updating the website and has lots of new activities for fall 2010. We are always eager to know how people in different countries would like to experience Italian culture and art.
